Blood Brothers is the emotional tale of twin brothers who are separated at birth in 1960's Liverpool. The boys' loving Mother cannot afford to raise both children and is faced with a heart-breaking decision when she is offered money by her wealthy but childless employer to give up one of her sons to her care. The boys' Mother is forced to give up one of the boys to ensure that they both have a better quality of life.
It is vowed that the boys will never discover the true identity of the other so as to protect them. As they grow up their lives become painfully intertwined and inevitably tragedy ensues.
