MAP
Set in 1931's Berlin; Cabaret is a story of decadence, where morally questionable characters endeavour to 'keep up appearances' in a world rapidly falling to Nazi Power. Punters seek sanctuary at the Kit Kat Club, enjoying fantastic performances enabling them to numb their thoughts of the horrors of war awaiting them outside.
Clifford Bradshaw travels from America in pursuit of his 1st novel and soon finds himself falling for the lovely Sally Bowles who takes to the stage nightly at the Kit Kat Club. She not only captivates the audiences of Berlin in the midst of an ever growing Nazi Germany, but also wins the heart of Clifford.
Witness the tragedy as Berlin begins to be overrun by Nazi power. See the effects this surge of facism has on the hedonistic characters, powerless to do anything but watch their lives deteriorate around them. Where will they turn and what will they do? Be prepared to be captivated by the shocking fate that lies ahead for each of them.
Sit back and enjoy this bizarre world of laughter, music and sexual confusion but be aware of the dark issues of war just waiting to tear it all down.
